What do I need to bring to my appointment?

Bring your insurance card, picture id, and copies of any relevant records. Records could include radiology, related procedures, notes, pathology, etc. Download and fill out our new patient paperwork below which you will need before sseing one of our physicians. You can speed along your check-in process by bringing these completed forms with you to your first appointment.

What kinds of vascular conditions do you treat?

At Vascular Surgery Specialists, we offer treatment for a wide variety of vascular conditions and disorders. These include abdominal aortic aneurysm, peripheral vascular disease, carotid stenosis, and more.

What does Board Certified mean?

Surprisingly, some surgeons that practice vascular surgery in Phoenix are not board certified in vascular surgery. All of our surgeons at Vascular Surgery Specialists are board-certified in general and vascular surgery. The American Board of Surgery sets stringent requirements to qualify for the Vascular Surgery examination. In order to become board certified in vascular surgery, a physician must pass extensive training and examination in general and vascular surgery over a period of years.

What is a vascular surgeon?

Today’s vascular surgeon has completed a one- or two-year vascular fellowship, is board-certified by the American Board of Vascular Surgery and is not only trained in surgical care for patients with arterial, venous and lymphatic diseases but also has extensive experience in the non-invasive and minimally invasive endovascular techniques.
